Adaptive and pedagogical use of database (DBMS) software Example
Spreadsheets provide a powerful way to collect, analyze, and represent complex data in rows and columns of a table. Databases provide similar features as well as more functionality related to managing and manipulating large data sets.

Database Example: School District Data and MEAP Scores
This example is an actual ClarisWorks database created to capture school district data from the Michigan Department of Education for comparision. This file is only available for downloading as a ClarisWorks database and not viewable directly on the Web. In addition, a set of directions (text) are available that describe how to create a school database in ClarisWorks.
